{"id":629,"date":"2018-12-27T18:04:42","date_gmt":"2018-12-27T17:04:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.honey-pi.de\/?p=629"},"modified":"2020-03-09T22:23:26","modified_gmt":"2020-03-09T21:23:26","slug":"thingspeak-und-ifttt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/honey-pi.de\/en\/thingspeak-und-ifttt\/","title":{"rendered":"Notifications via ThingSpeak and IFTTT"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instruction<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If, for example, you would like to receive a message or notification on your smartphone if the weight falls below a certain level, you can set this up quite simply by using the following services:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>at ThingSpeak.com through the services &#8220;ThingHTTP&#8221; and &#8220;React&#8221; in interaction with the <\/li><li>IFTTT.com available service &#8220;WebHooks&#8221; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Preconditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>You are using the HoneyPi solution and your sensor data is already transferred to a ThingSpeak account<\/li><li>You have downloaded the app IFTTT from the App Store (iOS) or from the PlayStore (Android) to your smartphone and set up an account with IFTTT<\/li><li>You use a browser like Firefox (not necessarily Safari) &#8211; because then all buttons work<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>You must proceed in the following order:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sign in at IFTTT.com on your PC or Mac with the created account (Sign in)<\/li><li>Open the menu item &#8220;My Applets&#8221; and click on &#8220;New Applet&#8221;.<\/li><li>In the next window click on the blue &#8220;this&#8221;. Search for &#8220;WebHooks&#8221; and click on the blue tile &#8220;WebHooks&#8221;.<\/li><li>Click now on the tile &#8220;Receive a web request&#8221;.<\/li><li>In the next window enter a name for the alarm in the field &#8220;Event name&#8221;, e.g. &#8220;Swarm alarm&#8221;.<\/li><li>Now click on the button &#8220;Create trigger&#8221;.<\/li><li>Now click on the blue &#8220;that&#8221; in the next window<\/li><li>Search now under &#8220;Search action service&#8221; for &#8220;Notifications&#8221; and then click on the tile &#8220;Notifications&#8221;.<\/li><li>In the window &#8220;Choose action&#8221; now click on the tile &#8220;Send a rich notification from the IFTTT app&#8221;.<\/li><li>In the next window, enter a name for the message in the &#8220;Title&#8221; field, e.g. &#8220;Swarm alarm beehive 1&#8221;.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"844\" height=\"410\" src=\"https:\/\/www.honey-pi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-Message.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/honey-pi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-Message.png 844w, https:\/\/honey-pi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-Message-300x146.png 300w, https:\/\/honey-pi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-Message-768x373.png 768w, https:\/\/honey-pi.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-Message-660x321.png 660w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 844px) 100vw, 844px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>11.  In the field &#8220;Message&#8221; you can now change the whole text. In the next window &#8220;Review and finish&#8221; click on &#8220;Finish&#8221;. In this link &#8220;event&#8221; with the braces must be replaced by your event name &#8220;Schwarmalarm1&#8221;. Then copy this link with the replaced event name and save it somewhere. Now close the window in your browser<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>18. Continue with ThingSpeak<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>19. Open <a href=\"http:\/\/ThingSpeak.com\">ThingSpeak.com<\/a> now and log in via &#8220;Sign in&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>20. Open the settings page &#8220;ThingHTTP&#8221; in the menu bar via &#8220;Apps<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>21. We leave all other fields unchanged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>24. We remember the number behind &#8220;Request&#8221; under &#8220;Name&#8221; at the top of the page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>25. Now close the window by clicking the green button &#8220;Save ThingHTTP&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>26. Enter a name in the field &#8220;React Name&#8221; above, e.g. &#8220;My swarm alarm&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>28. &#8220;Change &#8220;Condition Type&#8221; to &#8220;numeric&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>29. Now under &#8220;Condition&#8221; under &#8220;If channel&#8221; select your ThingSpeak Channel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>30. \u2026and in &#8220;field&#8221; select the data field for the measured value of the scale, in the second field change from &#8220;contains&#8221; to &#8220;is less or equal to&#8221;, in the third field set the weight from which the notification is to be sent (e.g. 40kg)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>31. &#8220;Action&#8221; must contain &#8220;ThingHTTP&#8221; and &#8220;then perfom ThingHTTP&#8221; must contain the number of the &#8220;Request&#8221; that we remembered above<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>32. Bei &#8220;Options&#8221; solltest du &#8220;Run action only the first time the condition is fulfilled&#8221; ausw\u00e4hlen<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>33.
